Although geographically focused in the Southeast, our network of capital sources and investors allow us to service our clients and their properties located throughout the United States.
Since our founding in 2004 as an independent mortgage banking company, Medalist Capital has successfully completed transactions with over 160 clients and closed over 900 loans, with total deal volume of $7.9 billion spread across more than 60 different lenders. Our servicing portfolio currently stands at over $1.81 billion.
Also in 2012, in response to overwhelming demand from clients, Medalist Capital formed a joint venture with Pensford Financial Group to create Medalist Defeasance in order to help clients with defeasance transactions. The Medalist Defeasance team is comprised of experienced specialists that have completed more than 1,000 defeasance transactions for more than $10 billion.
Medalist Capital has executed transactions on behalf of public and private REITS, private equity funds, national and regional private developers and family investment offices.
